Native and Water-wise Plant Sale September 19, 2026 9 am-noon Walla Walla
Two native and water-wise plant sales at one site! You will find a unique a selection of local native and water-wise plants for sale Saturday September 19, 9am-noon at the Walla Walla County Conservation District parking lot, 35 N. 13th St, Walla Walla. The local chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society (WNPS) has chosen many local shrubs and trees to anchor your garden landscape as well as some easy to grow perennials. Plants are sourced from eastern Washington nurseries specializing in native plants. A second vendor, Plants for Pollinators run by Kate Frey, will focus on flowering perennials grown from seed, some collected locally. Native plants are valuable in your garden for pollinators, water-wise, low maintenance, beauty, and conservation of local natural plant diversity. Volunteers needed : 2 people for 1-2 hrs to make price and directional signage. 2 people set up 7 am, 1 person take down at noon. 1 person to help tally plant sales.
