Join chapter member Ernie to do some fall cleanup at the Purple Heart Memorial in time for Veterans Day. The Purple Heart Memorial is a volunteer led native plant project led by CBWNPS member Ernie Crediford. We’ll be pulling weeds and planting new purple sage (Salvia dorrii) in the center of the heart and Oregon sunshine (Eriophyllum lanatum) around the border.

Where: Purple Heart Memorial located at the north west corner of Wye Park near the boat launch (1604 Columbia Park Trail, Richland, WA 99352)

What to bring: Your favorite digging tool, gloves, long pants and closed toed shoes recommended.
