Plants of the genus Lomatium can be a tricky group of plants to identify. Terri Knoke has spent considerable time learning about the key differences between species. She will share her knowledge of these characteristics for many Lomatium species found in our region. In addition, she will talk about how genetic studies are changing our understanding of the Apiaceae family. Terri is a retired engineer, artist, and lover of plant identification.
At 6:30 pm, we will continue with our “Plant Talk” feature, bring in unknown plants (not ornamental) and we will attempt to identify them. This is also an opportunity to socialize before our meeting.
