Following Hallows eve, Judy Pottmeyer from Mission Support Alliance, will present on the importance of plants (and a few fungi) and plant chemicals to the history and practice of witchcraft throughout the ages. Plants really lie at "the root" of the iconic 'witch on her broomstick' image, the drawings and hallucinations documented by medieval practitioners, and possibly even the Salem Witch Trials!
