Monthly Meeting: Native Plants at Work

Dr. Steven Link of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Reservation will talk about native plants of the Columbia Basin and how they can and have been used in landscaping.  He will also present an update on plant propagation efforts.

At 6:30 pm, we will continue with our “Plant Talk” feature, bring in unknown plants (not ornamental) and we will attempt to identify them. This is also an opportunity to socialize before our meeting.

This is a good time to start planning your garden. Our sale of native plants will be October 21, at C&M Nursery and the free Heritage Garden workshop will be on November 18 in the Richland Library.
