Wildflower Walk: Wallula Gap – The Wall & Two Sisters

Snow delayed the onset of flowers, but NOW the little gold stars are raising their sleepy heads from their beds of emerald star moss among the rocks and lichens and the prairie stars waving their little white flags, surrendering to the spring. This is what we hope to see at “The Wall” and “Two Sisters,” our first wildflower walk of the year. It’s a short hike and well worth the effort. Meeting time is 10:00 a.m. at Yoke’s parking lot by Little Caesar’s Pizza on Road 68 in north Pasco. Ernie Crediford and Terri Knoke, Leaders. Dress appropriately for the weather and don’t forget your camera for this early season surprise and stunning views of the Columbia River. Please contact trip leader at Ernest_crediford@live.com if you plan on attending.
